The game that is scheduled to release this year is, of course Madden 25 coins along with Doug Flutie's Maximum Football 2023 and Axis Football 2023. There are also newcomers with Legend Bowl and Sunday Rivals. Every developer is unique and has its own idea of what football in the digital age should look, feel like and feel like, and it's never been more apparent than now.
Recently, I had the chance to be part of an exclusive beta test for three of the games listed on this list. The creators of Sunday Rivals, Axis Football 2023 and Legend Bowl all provided me with a pre-release copy of the game. So let's look at my thoughts on the three games in beta.
After spending a few hours playing Sunday Rivals over the course of a few hours, I am able to confidently say that the game is an unique arcade experience that includes an excellent football game under the cartoonish, blocky graphics. When OS last played this game Josh played it at the beginning of the prototype phase. The game is advancing and what's refreshing is that it targets players with an in-depth understanding of the game in real life and those seeking a great gaming experience.
In essence, it is an extreme retro-style, hard-hitting soccer game which allows players at all levels of skill to relax and enjoy themselves.
The game was fun and I experienced playing the game. The graphics were crisp and clear and the gameplay was a great combination of arcade-style buy mut coins gameplay and sufficient real-life football happening that even sim-heads could enjoy it. The player's movements were extremely flexible, and despite being classified as an arcade game I did find myself having to keep track of my blockers as well as go through my QB's movements to consistently succeed.
